Abstract

Abstract We demonstrate for the first time a rapid large-scale procedure using planetary centrifugal mixer equipment for the synthesis of green-emitting solid-state Cs4PbBr6 perovskite luminescence materials to improve the efficiency of the synthesis reaction. Compared with the conventional stirring method, the Cs4PbBr6 perovskite materials synthesized with our proposed method display a high photoluminescence quantum yield of 34%. In addition, the surface of the solid-state Cs4PbBr6 luminescence material was modified with a silane coupling agent by the plasma-assisted method. The stability in moisture was improved by the hydrophobic properties imparted to the surface of the Cs4PbBr6. Consequently, in accelerated aging testing, the surface-modified Cs4PbBr6 showed a 20% improvement in the degradation of the photoluminescence property against moisture over that of its counterpart.
