Electrocatalysis: Co‐doping Strategy for Developing Perovskite Oxides as Highly Efficient Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Evolution Reaction (Adv. Sci. 2/2016)
Source abstract
Abstract
Perovskite oxides represent one category of efficient electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), a key reaction that enables conversion and storage of sustainable but intermittent energy sources. In article number 1500187, Z. Shao and co-workers identify—through a synergistic co-doping strategy—a series of cobalt-based perovskite oxides that are both active and stable for OER in alkaline media. By tailoring the concentrations of less OER-active dopants, tunable electrocatalytic activity is demonstrated.
