Multi-objective optimization design of fast vacuum switch operating mechanism for hydrogen storage systems
Source abstract
Abstract
Aiming at the multi-variable and multi-objective optimization of the operating mechanism of mechanical vacuum switches, as well as the correlation among output dynamic characteristics, the structure of the operating mechanism for hydrogen energy storage systems is optimized using a multi-objective jellyfish optimization algorithm. In order to minimize the volume and manufacturing cost of the operating mechanism, the structural parameters of the operating mechanism’s holding unit were taken as optimization variables, with the minimum volume of the moving iron core and magnet set as the optimization objectives. Under the given motion characteristic constraints, the optimal dimensions of the holding parts among the most costly components of the operating mechanism were obtained. In addition, the holding force of the operating mechanism was verified experimentally, and the results demonstrated the effectiveness of the optimization methods.
