Abstract

In order to introduce the most advanced automatic measurement methods, using the most advanced platform to transform manual mapping into digital remote sensing mapping, greatly reduce the time and manpower required by measurement personnel, and achieve intelligent surveying and monitoring, an automatic surveying robot device was designed. However, the chute of the device is prone to wear and corrosion during use. In order to solve this problem, graphene (Gr)/high entropy alloy coatings were prepared on the surface of the chute using laser cladding technology. The experimental results show that the Gr/AlCoCrFeTix coatings are mainly composed of dendrites and equiaxed crystal precipitates. Gr plays a strengthening role, and Ti element plays a fine grain role. The coating has excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance: microhardness between 435 and 447 HV, average friction coefficient between 0.49 and 0.58, self-corrosion potential between −0.54 and −0.50 V, and self-corrosion current density between 1.22 × 10−4 and 4.31 × 10−4 A/cm2. Through practice, by laser cladding the Gr/AlCoCrFeTix coating on the surface of the chute of the automatic surveying robot, it can ensure the normal operation of the measurement robot and extend its service life.
