Abstract

Nature-Inspired Subvoxel Control of Fiber Orientation In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/advs.202511008), Berin Šetaeta, Marco Brander, Jon Spangenberg, and co-workers present a novel 3D printing technique enabling subvoxel control of fiber orientation in all three directions through multidirectional shearing using nozzle rotation and inclination. The cover visualizes programmable microstructures within a single printed strand that replicate complex natural anisotropies, opening new pathways toward advanced composites in space, automotive, and biomedical applications.
