Piezoelectric‐Metal Phononic Crystal Enabling GHz Tunable Ultrahigh Q Quasi‐BIC Mode (Adv. Sci. 6/2026)
Source abstract
Abstract
Piezoelectric-Metal Phononic Crystal In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/advs.202513664), Xiaoqin Shen, Tao Wu, and co-workers present a piezoelectric-metal PnC resonator featuring GHz ultrahigh-Q quasi-BIC mode. The cover depicts acoustic waves confined and transmitted within a suspended LiNbO3 thin film cavity, symbolizing information storage and controlled release through integrated heater.
