Abstract

Composition-Controlled Cathode Protective Layer The cover illustrates sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries employing cathode protective layers coated via powder-atomic layer deposition. The lithium zirconium oxide protective layers exhibit composition-dependent ionic and electronic conductivities, which directly govern cell performance. The image emphasizes the role of composition control as a fundamental design axis for cathode interface engineering, beyond conventional parameters such as film thickness and coating method.
