Osmotically Tunable Microdroplets Enable Amplification‐Free CRISPR Detection of Gene Doping (Adv. Sci. 48/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Amplification-Free Detections This illustration connects gene doping to an innovative diagnostic solution. A microfluidic device generates osmotically tunable double emulsion droplets that serve as isolated picoliter reactors. Inside, the sample is mixed with a CRISPR-Cas system for amplification-free, highly sensitive detection. Enhanced signals visually confirm detection, demonstrating a simple, powerful, and rapid diagnostic platform.
