A Prion‐Like Domain in EBV EBNA1 Promotes Phase Separation and Enables SRRM1 Splicing (Adv. Sci. 41/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
EBV EBNA1 is a Prion-Like Protein Named “EBNA1 PrLD”, the boat plows through the pond, its wake carving a decisive boundary between two fates of EBNA1: the vibrant green lotus leaves, sparse and vital, embody its native, dispersed state; while the fiery orange leaves, clustering densely, mirror the aggregated, pathogenic form, prion.
