Activation of Kir4.1 Channels by 2‐D08 Promotes Myelin Repair in Multiple Sclerosis (Adv. Sci. 34/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Myelin Repair in Multiple Sclerosis The cover illustrates the therapeutic potential of 2-D08, a small molecule targeting Kir4.1 channels, in promoting the differentiation of oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs) through FYN tyrosine kinase phosphorylation and the FYN/MYRF pathway. This innovative approach significantly enhances myelin repair and improves motor deficits in EAE mice and marmosets, offering a promising therapy for demyelinating diseases.
