Abstract
High-Performance Thin Film Solid Oxide Fuel Cell In article number 2502504, Young-Beom Kim, Sungeun Yang, Jihwan An, and co-workers demonstrate high-performance thin-film solid oxide fuel cells (TF-SOFCs) with nanoscale anode functional layers (n-AFLs) fabricated via rapid, scalable reactive sputtering. The optimized n-AFL improves triple-phase boundary kinetics and reduces resistance, achieving 1.33 W cm−2 in 1 cm2 cells and 19.36 W in 16 cm2 cells, highlighting a promising route toward TF-SOFC commercialization.
