Responsive ROS‐Augmented Prodrug Hybridization Nanoassemblies for Multidimensionally Synergitic Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Cascade Assaults (Adv. Sci. 29/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
A Cascade Strategy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma In article number 2501420, Yingjie Zeng, Jun Lu, and co-workers present a tumor microenvironment-responsive hybrid nano-prodrug (CA-4S2@ES-Cu) that achieves spatiotemporal co-delivery of CA-4 (angiogenesis inhibitor) and ES-Cu (mitochondrial cuproptosis inducer). Synergistic GSH depletion amplifies oxidative stress and DAMPs release, activating immunogenic cell death to transcend monotherapy limitations, thereby establishing a multidimensional therapeutic paradigm for hepatocellular carcinoma.
