Support‐Free, Connected Core–Shell Nanoparticle Catalysts Synthesized via a Low‐Temperature Process for Advanced Oxygen Reduction Performance (Adv. Sci. 7/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Connected Core–Shell Nanoparticles In article number 2408614, Takeo Yamaguchi and co-workers introduce a novel method to synthesize support-free, connected nanoparticle catalysts with a porous, hollow capsule structure and a highly conductive nano-network at low temperatures. Featuring a non-Pt metal core and connected Pt atomic shell, this approach enhances catalyst surface area and oxygen reduction reaction efficiency.
