Abstract
Multicolor X-ray imaging for Osteoarthritis Tracking A novel pair of metal nanoprobes based on praseodymium (green) and hafnium (red) are designed to specifically target two complementary biomarkers of osteoarthritis (OA) progression. The approach relies on K-edge imaging method using next-generation spectral photon counting computed tomography (SPCCT) for accurate delineation and ratiometric quantification of nanoprobe accumulation in the bone joint cartilage achieving high sensitivity in dual probe detection.
