SPP1+ TAM Regulates the Metastatic Colonization of CXCR4+ Metastasis‐Associated Tumor Cells by Remodeling the Lymph Node Microenvironment (Adv. Sci. 44/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma The cover highlights the complex process of tumor metastasis from the primary site to the lymph nodes. It illustrates how SPP1+ TAM, which are particularly prevalent in these metastatic nodes, play a pivotal role in facilitating the metastasis of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). This is achieved by their dynamic influence on reshaping the tumor's immune microenvironment, thereby enhancing its metastatic potential.
