Hsp90 Promotes Gastric Cancer Cell Metastasis and Stemness by Regulating the Regional Distribution of Glycolysis‐Related Metabolic Enzymes in the Cytoplasm (Adv. Sci. 33/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Glycolysis This cover illustrates the discovery of an intriguing way to improve glycolytic energy production and utilization in tumor cells. In article number 2310109, Yuliang Ran, Xiong Shu, and co-workers found that glycolytic enzymes can achieve an orderly spatial distribution within the cell, regulated dynamically by chaperone molecules and cytoskeleton. This novel mechanism not only boosts the efficiency of the glycolytic cascade but also ensures precise regional energy supply.
