Source abstract
Abstract
Intelligent Rock-Climbing Robot Rock-climbing robots have great potential for planetary exploration and fieldwork. Xilun Ding and co-workers developed MARCBot, a quadruped robot adept at rock climbing and fast trotting on tough terrains. It features hybrid bioinspired spiny grippers for attachment. The image shows a conceptual depiction of MARCBot in a rocky planetary mission. More details can be found in article number 2309058.
