Abstract

Reconfigurability-Encoded Liquid Manipulation Rectifier This novel liquid manipulation rectifier leverages interfacial energy and programmable magnetic fields to enable multimodal directional steering of small-volume liquids. This active-passive-hybrid rectifier supports rich liquid behaviors illustrated by the cover image, pioneering new applications in portable liquid identification, open-channel microfluidics, point-of-care devices, and biomedical applications.
