Abstract

CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing Technology Corneal neovascularization (CNV) is a common clinical finding observed in various eye diseases, which can lead to blindness. In article number 2401710, Hetian Lei, Xingtao Zhou, Jinhai Huang, and their colleagues demonstrate the use of CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology with selected sgRNA to regulate VEGFA gene expression, and achieving therapeutic purposes. This study establishes a solid foundation for treating CNV through a gene editing approach for the first time.
