Universal Approach to Direct Spatiotemporal Dynamic In Situ Optical Visualization of On‐Catalyst Water Splitting Electrochemical Processes (Adv. Sci. 24/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Visualizing Water Splitting In article number 2401258 by Gaurav Bahuguna and Fernando Patolsky, a unique paradigm for the optical real-time spatiotemporal visualization of electrochemical water splitting processes is demonstrated, along with several associated unprecedented practical insights leading to the potential enhancement in hydrogen production. This elegant strategy can be universally extended to additional electrochemical reactions and their related by-products, by the use of reaction product-specific fluorophores.
