Intrinsic Visible Plasmonic Properties of Colloidal PtIn2 Intermetallic Nanoparticles (Adv. Sci. 10/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Surface Plasmon Resonance Colloidal PtIn2 intermetallic nanoparticles with C1 crystal structure are found to exhibit localized surface plasmon resonance in visible region without using “coinage metals” such as gold, silver, and copper. This is like alchemy, as C1-PtIn2 nanoparticles optically behave like gold. More details can be found in article number 2307055 by Haruka Takekuma, Ryota Sato, Toshiharu Teranishi and co-workers.
