Abstract

Rapid Prototyping Thermoplastic Organ Chips In article number 2304332 by Yu Shrike Zhang, Xin Xie, and co-workers, an approach to pattern fluid guides inside microchannels is reported, resulting in rapid and consistent hydrogel flow in fully bonded microfluidic devices containing additional features for medium perfusion. The potential of using such device for pharmaceutical high-throughput screening applications is demonstrated. The approach offers a facile strategy of rapid prototyping thermoplastic organ chips with varying geometries, microstructures, and substrate materials.
