Abstract
Immunomodulation In article number 2302674 by Chun Zhou, Xuesong Liu, Guohua Xu, and co-workers, a novel hydrogel embedded with Cu-Zn doped bioactive glass nanoparticles for MRSA-infected wound healing is unveiled. The hydrogel showcases spatiotemporal immunomodulation, encouraging macrophages to shift from M1 to M2 phenotypes, enhancing antibacterial effects, and promoting wound repair. This innovative approach offers a promising avenue for designing immunomodulatory biomaterials to tackle complex clinical challenges in wound infection treatments.
