An Air Particulate Pollutant Induces Neuroinflammation and Neurodegeneration in Human Brain Models (Adv. Sci. 21/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
Human Brain Model In article number 2101251 by Hansang Cho and co‐workers, PM2.5‐polluted human brain models (PMBs) are created in a 3D microfluidic platform reconstituting key aspects of human brain immunity under the PM2.5 exposure. The cover artwork shows the potential risk of neuroinflammation on brain health induced by air pollutants from diesel exhaust. Cover illustration by You Jung Kang.
