Abstract

Development of SMART implantable medical devices is the future of cardiovascular healthcare. In article number 1902999, John R. Mercer and co‐workers develop a new type of diagnostic and therapeutic biosensor that can detect the very earliest signs of increased cellularity associated with blocked vessels. Moreover, the design can also induce a controlled form of cell death. [Image: see text]
