Self‐Healing Materials: Tattooing Plastics with Reversible and Irreversible Encryption (Adv. Sci. 13/2020)
Source abstract
Abstract
Inspired by the process of tattooing on human skin, an intrinsic self‐healing polymer containing dynamic covalent bonds is proposed as a substrate for information storage. In article number 1903785, Daniel Crespy and co‐workers demonstrate reversible and irreversible data encryption by mechanically writing a message in polymer substrates without and with dyes.
