Abstract

Uncovering sublimation dynamics at the atomic-scale is important for understanding natural phenomena and advanced manufacturing technologies. In article number 1802131, Francis Leonard Deepak and co-workers show direct in-situ atomic scale observations to reveal the effect of size, surface and defects on the uniform and non-uniform sublimation pathways of silver nanocrystals under heating within an aberration-corrected transmission electron microscope.
