Abstract

Mesenchymal Stromal Cells In article number 2200431, Wenjun Yan, Ling Tao, and co‐workers report a novel strategy for improving the curative effect of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)‐based therapy for myocardial infarction that is achieved by bile acid‐ arnesoid X receptor (FXR) axis activation. FXR overexpression in MSC facilitates the response of MSC to endogenous bile acid signals, thus enhancing the survival and paracrine angiogenesis of MSC. [Image: see text]
