Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) Materials Based on Earth‐Abundant Transition Metal Complexes: Synthesis, Design and Applications (Adv. Sci. 34/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence The cover illustrates the TADF process as a pinball game, where the coins are different metals, coming from an earth-shaped lockbox. After inserting one of the coins, voltage generates exciton balls which mainly populate the triplet state T1, but the reverse intersystem crossing (RISC) level bounces them back to the first singlet state S1, from which light is produced. More details can be found in aricle number 2404866 by Valentina Ferraro, Claudia Bizzarri, and Stefan Bräse.
