Abstract

3D Epithelial Tissue Production In vitro tissue models are a valuable tool for regulatory evaluation of drug candidates prior to clinical trials, but challenges such as standardization and cost hinder their adoption. In article number 2406608, Jan Hansmann and co-workers describe the ReBiA system which uses a dual-arm robot to automate laboratory processes, ensuring consistent quality of tissue models and reduced costs. As a result, automated production supports the reduction of animal testing.
