A Dye‐Sensitized Sensor for Oxygen Detection under Visible Light (Adv. Sci. 43/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Chemiresistive Sensors In article number 2405694, Máté J. Bezdek and co-workers present a chemiresistor for detecting oxygen at room temperature under light illumination. Inspired by the operating principles of dye-sensitized solar cells, the sensor is based on a carbon nanotube-titania hybrid bearing a rhenium photosensitizer that absorbs green light. The photoactivated device exhibits high oxygen selectivity, ppb-level sensitivity, humidity tolerance and multi-month stability.
