A Multifunctional Interlocked Binder with Synergistic In Situ Covalent and Hydrogen Bonding for High‐Performance Si Anode in Li‐ion Batteries (Adv. Sci. 30/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Multifunctional Binder In article number 2302144 by Dong-Gyun Kim, Jin Hong Lee, Jong-Chan Lee, and co-workers present a multifunctional interlocked thiourea polymer network (TUPN) binder for Si anode. The TUPN binder exhibits greatly enhanced mechanical properties by the synergistic in situ covalent and hydrogen bonding while showing stable and enhanced electrochemical properties by thiourea-based physical interlocking and polar moieties-based facilitated Li-ion transportation.
