Abstract

Tissue Engineering Autonomous self-assembly of stimuli-responsive cell-adhesive microgels and adhesive cells produce biochemical and biophysical programmable living composite microtissues. In situ light-induced poststiffening of the microgels offers elasticity-based control over stem cell lineage commitment.
