Abstract

In article number 1903239, Zhenyu Zhang, Suzhi Li, and co-workers realize macroscale superlubricity on macroscale surfaces under ambient conditions, using a tribological system: a graphene coated ball, graphene coated microspheres and a graphene coated plate. This could be potentially used in moving mechanical components for high-performance setups, consisting of aircrafts, automobiles, ships, etc., dramatically decreasing the friction and wear, saving energy and reducing the emission of carbon dioxide to the environment.
