Targeting Hyperglycemic Bone Pre‐Metastatic Niche for Breast Cancer Bone Metastasis Therapy (Adv. Sci. 37/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Glucose Deprivation Therapy The pink moon (primary breast cancer) strikes a bolt of lightning (breast cancer bone metastasis) onto the damaged Great Wall (spine). The lightning on the Great Wall glowed exceptionally bright red (hyperglycolytic microenvironment). The divine bird on the horizon (the biomimetic nanomedicine, GPNP@M) aims to plunder glucose from the breast cancer bone metastatic foci, providing a novel and effective therapeutic strategy for breast cancer bone metastasis.
