Lysosome‐Featured Cell Aggregate‐Released Extracellular Vesicles Regulate Iron Homeostasis and Alleviate Post‐Irradiation Endothelial Ferroptosis for Mandibular Regeneration (Adv. Sci. 34/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Tissue Regeneration The cover image illustrates how lysosome-enriched extracellular vesicles (EVs) alleviate irradiation-induced ferroptosis and promote bone regeneration. The lightning represents irradiation exposure that impairs vasculature and bone healing. Therapeutic EVs descend into the damaged microenvironment, enhance specialized blood vessels, and restore bone integrity, highlighting the potential of EVs as natural therapeutic agents to mitigate ferroptotic tissue injury and enhance tissue regeneration.
