Contrast Agent‐Free 3D Renal Ultrafast Doppler Imaging Reveals Vascular Dysfunction in Acute and Diabetic Kidney Diseases (Adv. Sci. 36/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Acute and Diabetic Kidney Diseases In article number 2303966, Jinah Jang, Yong Joo Ahn, Chulhong Kim, and their colleagues introduce a 3D ultrafast ultrasound imaging system that can noninvasively visualize the 3D renal vasculature of an entire rat's kidney at a microscopic level without the use of a contrast agent. This system is implemented to monitor the progression of vascular changes in parallel with acute kidney injury and diabetic kidney disease, respectively.
