Pure Organic AIE Nanoscintillator for X‐ray Mediated Type I and Type II Photodynamic Therapy (Adv. Sci. 26/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Organic Scintillators In article number 2302395, Ganfeng Xie, Guangxue Feng, Ben Zhong Tang, and co-workers develop an efficient pure organic aggregation-induced emission (AIE) nano-scintillator. It can be directly excited by X-ray to emit bright fluorescence and massively generate singlet oxygen and less oxygen-dependent hydroxyl radicals for X-PDT, exhibiting superior tumor eradication performance against radio-resistant tumors both in vitro and in vivo.
