Abstract

Antiviral Approach The authors use the Chinese traditional allusion “extracting the firewood from under the cauldron” to illustrate a strategy for controlling the porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV). Through the application of multi-omics and machine learning, lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) was discovered as a vital element for PRRSV proliferation. By eliminating LPA, it could be possible to effectively control PRRSV infection. More details can be found in article number 2402025 by Yongchang Cao and co-workers.
