Abstract

Artificial Room-Temperature Ferromagnetism In article number 2504746, Jinhyoung Lee, Gunhyoung Kim, Taesung Kim, and co-workers present artificial room-temperature vdW ferromagnetism of bulk VSe2 via nano-crystallization, which has not been previously achieved. By isolating the VSe2 monolayers, vdW ferromagnetism has been spatially resolved with a ferromagnetic hysteresis curve and cross-sectional TEM analysis. In conclusion, an artificial room-temperature vdW ferromagnetic platform can provide an extendable platform for vdW ferromagnetic materials, enabling vdW ferromagnets to be accessible, engineerable, and 3D-integrable into vdW heterostructures.
