Hematopoietic Transcription Factor RUNX1 is Essential for Promoting Macrophage–Myofibroblast Transition in Non‐Small‐Cell Lung Carcinoma (Adv. Sci. 1/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Macrophage–Myofibroblast Transition In article number 2302203, Philip Chiu-Tsun Tang, Max Kam-Kwan Chan, Patrick Ming-Kuen Tang, and co-workers, elucidated dynamics of cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF) with integrative bioinformatics at single-cell resolution, therefore unexpectedly identified the importance of a hematopoietic mediator RUNX1 (phosphorylated Runx1, red) for macrophage–myofibroblast transition (MMT) in lung cancer, which may represent a druggable target for eliminating the protumoral microenvironment in clinics.
