Hydrogen Production: Metal–Organic Framework‐Derived ZnO/ZnS Heteronanostructures for Efficient Visible‐Light‐Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production (Adv. Sci. 4/2018)
Source abstract
Abstract
A metal-organic framework (MOF)-templated strategy to prepare ZnO/ZnS hetero-nanostructures for photocatalytic hydrogen production under visible light is reported by Wei Shi, Pingyun Feng, Peng Cheng, and co-workers in article number 1700590. The chemical compositions of the hetero-nanostructures can be tuned by controlling the calcination time to further enhance the photocatalytic activity. The strategy provides a new approach to synthesize the uniformly integrated hetero-nanostructures for catalysis and energy conversion.
