Edge‐Site‐Free and Topological‐Defect‐Rich Carbon Cathode for High‐Performance Lithium‐Oxygen Batteries (Adv. Sci. 16/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Carbon Cathodes In article number 2300268, Wei Yu, Hirotomo Nishihara, and co-workers proposed an edge-site-free and topological-defect-rich graphene mesosponge (GMS) as a carbon cathode for Li-O2 batteries. GMS exhibits high discharge capacity, low charge plateau, and enhanced electrochemical stability, which is attributed to the formation of easily decomposable Li2O2 at the topological defects on the GMS.
