Light–Ferroic Interaction: Light‐Ferroic Interaction in Hybrid Organic–Inorganic Perovskites (Advanced Optical Materials 23/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 1901451, Olga S. Ovchinnikova, Yongtao Liu, and co-workers report a study about the light–ferroic interaction in methylammonium lead triiodide (CH3NH3PbI3) perovskite, extending the fundamentals of light–ferroic interaction. It is found that, due to photocarrier–lattice interaction, the ferroelastic twin domains with chemical segregation in CH3NH3PbI3 interact with light, diminishing the strain variation between neighboring domains. Details about materials, measurements, simulations, and applications are presented in the paper.
