Dielectric properties of the ferroelectric Bi2Ti3O9ceramics
Source abstract
Abstract
Abstract The temperature dependence of the dielectric constant ε, the dielectric loss tan δ and the conductance G of Bi2Ti3O9 ceramics in the temperature interval 100–400°C was studied. A diffuse ferroelectric phase transition at temperature T ≈ (260–280)°C was observed. A strong low frequency relaxation polarization was also observed. The relaxation polarization at low frequency shields the peculiarities in the temperature dependence of ε connected with phase transition. The dielectric nonlinearity at 50 Hz was studied. A hysteresis loop, typical for ceramic ferroelectrics with high dielectric loss was observed.
