CNT Electronics: Nearly Single‐Chirality Single‐Walled Carbon Nanotubes Produced via Orthogonal Iterative Density Gradient Ultracentrifugation (Adv. Mater. 19/2011)
Source abstract
Abstract
The cover depicts a thin-film transistor formed from a randomly oriented network of (6,5) single-walled carbon nanotubes. On p. 2185, Alexander Green and Mark Hersam describe a method of producing nearly single-chirality single-walled carbon nanotubes using iterative orthogonal density gradient ultracentrifugation. Semiconducting carbon nanotubes produced using this technique offer exceptional performance in thin-film transistors and are promising optoelectronic materials.
