Abstract

Photo-Pyroelectric Detectors In article number 2502467, Xiaoli Sun, Feng Chen and co-workers develop an ultrafast and ultra-broadband ferroelectric photo-pyroelectric detector based on embedded plasmonic nanoparticles. The strong localized surface plasmon resonance effect around the nanoparticles induces the intense thermal fields, significantly enhancing the temperature gradient and pyroelectric current in lithium tantalate. This detector demonstrates excellent long-term stability and wide-spectrum photodetection capabilities and enables high-resolution spatial imaging, offering a promising platform for next-generation high-performance optoelectronic devices.
