Abstract

In article number 1301938, Kenneth D. Singer, Tobin J. Marks, and co-workers report a new strategy for enhancing polymer solar cell efficiency by optimizing the thicknesses of all component layers. Optical transfer matrix theory is used to spectrally sculpt the cell optical absorption and to exploit cavity effects.
