Photocatalysis: Light‐Induced Activation of Adaptive Junction for Efficient Solar‐Driven Oxygen Evolution: In Situ Unraveling the Interfacial Metal–Silicon Junction (Adv. Energy Mater. 31/2019)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 1901308, Tsung-Rong Kuo, Hao Ming Chen, and co-workers demonstrate that photo-induced water oxidation triggers the generation of the adaptive layer in metal–semiconductor (M–S) junctions, offering a new perspective regarding the behavior of catalysts. This adaptive interphase in M–S junctions can enhance the voltage and photocurrent density through light-induced activation.
