Ultrathin Conformable Electronic Tattoo for Tactile Sensations (Adv. Electron. Mater. 9/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Conformable Electronics In article number 2201327 Arianna Mazzotta and Virgilio Mattoli show an electronic ultra-thin tattoo capable of providing haptic sensations to the human body. Remarkably, this thin device generates forces and displacements above tactile perception thresholds, even at low operating power. Successful tests on a participant validated the proposed approach, highlighting the potential use of conformable electronics as active on-skin devices.
